Hawaii Sail and Power Squadron offer a full line of boating educational services, certification and on water operations. Our classes are taught by certified and award winning instructors. From basic to advanced we have classes for every type of boater. Start with “America’s Boating Class” this class teaches the basics then take our Seamanship and you will be fully set of skills to operate a boat safely on the water. Next take our Piloting and Advanced Piloting classes to become a pro at inland navigation and if you want to adventure out into the open ocean then try our Junior Navigation and Navigation classes this will prepare you and help you making it safely to your final destination. Then we have electives and seminars these will further enhance your boating skills and knowledge. Engine Maintenance, Marine Electronics, VHF/DCS Marine Radio, Sail, Cruise Planning, Weather, Using GPS, How to read a chart and many more just go to our web site to see the full listing. We also offer on the water boat operation and on the water certification please call for more information. Vessel safety checks (VSC) is an important service we offer to all boaters just call and make an appointment and we will come to you or let you know where we will be offering VSCs. We will check your boat free to make sure you have the basic safety equipment to make your adventure safe.
