General Info:

Operational for more than 100 years, the Harrodsburg City Police Department works to provide safety and security and protect lives and property through crime prevention and law enforcement. It employs an honor guard that marches in parades, conducts funerals for officers and their family members, and attends wakes and funerals for area officers killed in the line of duty. The department operates patrol, investigation, communication and records divisions. The Harrodsburg City Police Department hosts the Crime Stoppers program, which assists in the identification of criminals through anonymous tips supplied by the public. It also conducts neighborhood watch and supports the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program. The department is located in Harrodsburg, Ky.
