We are a full service roofing and metal fabrication company that was organized in 1968. The company was formed by Lionel Smith, a young sheet metal mechanic with over a decade of experience looking to make his mark with an insatiable work ethic. For forty years, Mr. Smith led his company through its many growth phases including metal fabrication, steel building erections, shingle and slate installation as well as guttering & roof repairs. Today, we are a full service sheet metal roofing contractor with the experience and staffing to handle the largest installations for nearly every application. Ushering in a new generation into his business, Mr. Smith brought in his son, Lonnie Smith to his business. Fifteen years of learning and nurturing the company with his father's supervision, Lonnie and his father have brought the company through hail storms, Hurricane Katrina and recently Hurricane Gustav. The company has grown to accommodate its ever increasing customer base while striving to maintain the principles instilled from Mr. Smith forty years prior. At Guaranty Sheet Metal and Roofing we are strictly a "word of mouth" or referral company and we are only as good as our last job. We know our customers trust in our work and their satisfaction is our future. Our niche market includes custom sheet metal, guttering, standing seam roofing, slate and tile roofing, fabrication of vents, louvers and collector heads. We are known for historical renovations of sheet metal and roofing projects. Many of our projects are located in the French quarter, the Garden District, University/Uptown area and old Metairie. We also work in the entire metro area covering some area of the Gulf Coast, the Northshore, Houma, Thibodeaux and Baton Rouge.
