We are a family owned and operated business, run by Gary and Lucy Blakenship since September 1996 after the retirement of Murrell Blankenship. Gary is a second-generation pest management professional who started in the pest control business in 1977 after graduating from high school. The third generation of the Blankenship family is also working in the business: Daughter Sherry is the office manager, oldest son Walter is a sales and services representative, and youngest son Christopher (8 years old) gets on-the-job training in the office by stuffing envelopes and making copies in the afternoons after school. Guarantee Pest Control of Lexington, Inc provides general pest control and termite control to residential, commercial, equine-industry, and industrial customers. Our service area is a radius of approximately 60 miles from Lexington, KY. All of the service technicians here at Guarantee Pest Control of Lexington, Inc are certified by passing an examination given by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. This certification is in Category 7A & 7B. We are constantly trying to expand our technician knowledge by attending training meetings and keeping up with the latest methods and products available to our industry.
