Bill Griffith is one of our country's most experienced craftsman, specializing in refinishing & upholstering. Having started learning the trade in 1951 in a family owned business in California, he not only learned upholstering but also the restoration and repair of woods. He and his family moved to Texas in 1978 and has been established in the North Houston area giving quality service to all his Houstonian customers for over 25 years now. He still works with his family. His daughter, Darla, helps her dad with the business; and son, Dan runs a custom cabinetry shop; Griffith Wood Werks, right next door. Griffith Refinishing was established in 1955 founded by Bill Griffith who learned the trade from his father. Refinishing, repairing furniture, & upholstering are his specialties. Darla, his daughter works at the company; she specializes in the artistic side of restoration such as touching up paintings, working on frames, and sculptures.
