Great Lakes focuses on consistent and predictable growth and profitability by active development of existing fields and exploitation of deeper formations. At December 31, 2004, Great Lakes had proved reserves of approximately 545.5 Bcfe, with an average reserve life of 19 years. The company owns interests in 9,300 oil and gas wells and has a leasehold position of over $1 million net-acres containing nearly 2,000 proved drilling locations.
