Choosing the right company for your home can be a much bigger choice than you ever imagine. Often times we hear horror stories of carpet cleaning companies coming in and trying to nickel and dime customers to death. We absolutely hate that we get grouped in with those businesses. Just looking at the local ads, this is the typical advertisement: $9.95 per room or “whole house special,†which is a max of 4 rooms, for $89.95 – Please do NOT use these companies! If you read the fine print, a room to them is only 180 square feet…not very large. We give you up to 300 square feet per room before it is considered a double size (and that’s pretty rare). Next, take a look at the “We Also Offer†section. Deep scrub for 10 cents a square foot…what is that!? They also charge you for pre-spraying traffic areas, furniture moving, gas, and many spot treatments. We’ve done the math. For example, a 280 square foot living room (advertised at $9.95 per room), will cost you over $270 for a proper cleaning…$270 when you called for the $10 special!? That is not honest businessAt Got Spots, the price you see is the price you pay. The only extra charges you will ever see from us are on additional services, such as extra strength deodorizer (only if you decide to have more) and carpet protector. Our prices include the deep scrub, we include the pre-spray, and we include the furniture moving. In this profession you get what you pay for. If you try to save a few dollars, you will end up calling us later anyway and you will just be the latest customer to tell us your personal horror story. Don’t fall for the trap!
