General Info:

I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Vicki Goetze-Ackerman, a member of the LPGA tour since 1994. I will be teaching golf lessons at Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club in Valrico, FL.  My introduction to the golf started at the ripe age of three, and I played in my first tournament when I was five. My parents, my brother and I shared our love of the game of golf.  I have experienced so much through the game I played competitively all my life. I had opportunities to learn from some of the best instructors in the country. I have played on some of the best courses with some of the greatest players in the world. My understanding of the golf swing and how it works has developed through these experiences.  While I do believe that there are ideal fundamentals for the golf swing, I also believe that each individual develops swing patterns over time because of unique physical strengths and weaknessesWhen giving golf lessons, I will look at individuals and determine what changes would be optimal for them to improve their swing. I also will be teaching all aspects of the short game from putting, to chipping, to wedge play.  And for the player looking for course management, I will provide on-course lessons to help teach players how to optimize their games for better scoring.  Each individual lesson will be customized based on individual needs.  I will also be scheduling group lessons on a predetermined topic. I look forward to meeting the members of Buckhorn and providing golf instruction services
