Golden Eagle Drilling has been constructing quality water wells since 1958. Over the years we have developed techniques that make for the very best water well possible. We are able to drill in formations that other contractors stay away from. Our techniques also help us develop all the water that is available - which is very important, especially in areas of low producing wells. Our fleet of rigs and support trucks are maintained to the highest standards helping eliminate on the job breakdowns. Our drillers have been with Golden Eagle Drilling for many years and take great pride in the work they do. Water Well Drilling Golden Eagle Drilling is experienced in all phases of water well drilling and installation for Colorado's geography. We have two types of drill rigs: The first is a rotary rig which uses a special cone roller bit attached to the bottom of hollow drill pipe that is rotated cutting the formation. Compressed air is forced down the drill pipe lifting the cuttings out of the well. The other rig is a cable tool which uses a large solid bit attached to a cable that is raised and dropped rapidly crushing the formation. The cable tool rig is used mostly on large diameter and commercial wells. Obtaining Well Permits Golden Eagle Drilling has trained professions who will work with you during the application process, to help you obtain the proper well permit.
