Sandy Glenn - owner, operator & faculty member: Sandy is the Past President of the Cecchetti Council of America, a member of Cecchetti International and a Permanent Examiner for ballet exams. She holds the Advanced Certificate in the Method and is the Liaison Officer for Western Michigan. Mrs. Glenn received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Psychology from Northwestern University and has studied and performed various methods of classical ballet and character dance. She taught in Howell for several years before opening Glenns' School of Dance in 1977. As a member of the CCA Executive Board, she has also taught at ballet days, refreshers, workshops, and the summer program for students and teachers at Michigan State University, Cleveland School of Ballet, and Hope College. She is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her outstanding service to the dance community. Ginger Gray & Anni Ulman - faculty members and Artistic Directors of its Company in Residence: As artistic directors of Performing Arts Dance Theater (PADT ), Ginger & Anni have trained students to perform in Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, and all over the Midwest. Several of their students have gone on to study at the Universal Ballet School in Washington DC and the National Ballet School of Canada as well as dance universities including the prestigious Alvin Ailey School. Their students have performed with professional modern companies and danced in industrials, commercials and videos, as well as having successful careers as dance teachers and choreographers. Under their artistic direction, the company has earned top honors several renowned convention and competition organizations, while many individual dancers have earned scholarships and job opportunities from these organizations. Both ladies served as instructors, choreographers and administrators with Badgerette Pompon Inc. traveling the Midwest teaching and judging high school and middle school dance teams. Ginger Gray received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in dance performance and choreography from the University of Michigan where she was the recipient of several scholarships. She is also a member of the Cecchetti Council of America, qualified by examination to send students and teachers through the exam process. Anni Ulman received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Social Work from Michigan State University. She is also a certified massage therapist, specializing in the kinesiology of the dancer's physique. Raphaela Ninowski - Ballet Mistress of Performing Arts Dance Theater: Raphaela is a native of Germany receiving her initial ballet training at the Cologne Ballet Academy before moving to Cleveland, Ohio where she was on scholarship at the Cleveland School of Ballet. She is currently pursuing an academic career as a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Psychology at Wayne State University. In addition to that, she is still performing professionally while teaching Master Classes at several studios in southeastern Michigan. Jodie Austin - faculty member of Glenns' School of Dance and certified Kindermusik instructor: Jodie is an alumnus of Performing Arts Dance Theater and a member of the Cecchetti Council of America, accomplishing five student and four teacher exams. She has been teaching all forms of dance and has been instrumental in developing our children's program. She attended Michigan State University to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Development and has completed her Kindermusik certification. Sara Randazzo - Guest teacher for Glenns' School of Dance: Sara owns and operates her own studio in Ypsilanti, and we are thrilled that she has again set aside one day a week to offer her tap expertise to our advanced tap students. She grew up in the Ann Arbor area, dancing and teaching with Marjorie Randazzo, and is a graduate of Michigan State University. Sara studied and performed in New York City for many years, and has accomplished three Cecchetti teacher exams. She
