Genesis Planning & Design was established in January of 2006 and created to support the leasing efforts of downtown and suburban commercial office buildings as well as industrial properties. Our mission is to “Build Ohio one tenant space at a time” and we are committed to creating corporate environments for our clients that are successful. Genesis is a full service commercial interior design and space planning firm. We work with real estate agents, tenants, property managers and building owners to plan and design the best work space possible. We partner with engineers, architects and various general contractors to fulfill the needs of both building owners and businesses that want to create the absolute best environment that their budget and schedule will allow. The responsibilities of the designers will often include the full scope of services from space programming, contract documents and construction administration. Knowledge of the BOMA square footage guidelines, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the building code allow us to provide prompt and accurate design services that bring value to a building, satisfaction to the tenant, minimize change orders and shorten construction schedules. The art of matching a client’s requirements with a building’s opportunities is a practice that we continue to refine and develop to ensure a successful solution for both the building’s owner and company that will operate within the space. Our design team has over 45 years of commercial and residential design experience with the capabilities to partner with the best architects and engineers working in the city.
