Ron Gammon started Gammon Equipment Company Inc in 1962 in Springfield, MO. He started the company selling industrial supplies. In 1963 the Yale forklift line was added. This relationship has stood the test of time as the company represents Yale in all of our locations today.In 2010 the Hyster forklift line was awarded to Gammon Equipment serving Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.The company remains family owned and operated. Greg Gammon has served as president since 2000 and his sister, Libby Dunn, is also active in the business. With six locations in Missouri and Arkansas the company is large enough to fulfill customer needs with respect to ; inventory, a full line of material handling products, and rental equipment. However, the company remains small enough that the ownership is involved in all aspects of the day to day operations. Decisions can be made very quickly when a customer needs action without bogging down in layers of management.Yale and Hyster are full line suppliers of forklift trucks and one of the worldwide industry leaders. Yale & Hyster are headquartered in the US and builds product in Greenville, NC as well as Berea, Kentucky. Yale and Hyster are focused on building the highest quality forklift truck in the world.Gammon Equipment believes in doing business in a simple straight forward manner.
