Founded in 1992, Middle School South serves more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The school employs a staff of over 40 people. It covers an area of nearly 25 acres that includes football, soccer and softball complexes. Middle School South also offers classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. The school provides programs in art, music, home economics, and physical and technology education. It offers access to library books, newspapers, magazines, computers, scanners and printers, as well as Internet access. The school provides bus transportation, food and custodial services. In addition, it offers special education services for students with learning, physical and multiple disabilities. The school administers the English as a Second Language program.
