He wrote few bonds in the beginning, as he observed every aspect of the legal system, which enabled him to make wise decisions in choosing his clients.He also gained the knowledge to advise his clients and their families with helpful information about the court and jail system. Through his professional integrity and prompt, courteous service, his business grew rapidly. By the end of the second year, Free Bird Bail Bonds had grown statewide and beyond, serving Maryland, North and South Carolina, and Colorado. As the business grew, David trained more than 60 agents. Since he insisted on the same professional service from his agents that he has rendered his clients, he reduced the amount of time that he personally wrote bonds so he could spend more time focusing on community issues
