Are you feeling overwhelmed by thoughts, emotions, indecision; or do you immediately assume a worst-case scenario? Have you experienced something painful and can't stop thinking about it? Maybe you feel stuck in your relationship, have trouble communicating, and wish to reconnect with your partner. These situations tend to limit our ability to function well. We hope that these feelings or thoughts will go away with time, but it's not usually the case. You may sense that your issues are a little more serious than ordinary worries or Monday blues. This is when therapy can be helpful. In therapy with me, we will work together, at your own pace. I primarily work with adults, couples and adolescents. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief or trauma, and couples encountering intimacy, communication and conflict resolution challenges. I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy. My goal is to empower you and to help you better understand and cope with your experiences. Perhaps most importantly, I offer a warm and compassionate space to share your concerns, because I believe that exploring one's experience in a safe space, with guidance but no judgment, is vital to the healing process.
