Founded in 1904, Florida Baptist Children's Homes is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that provides Christ-centered services to children and families. It is an agency of the Florida Baptist Convention. The organization serves abused, neglected and orphaned children. Florida Baptist Children's Homes operates several campus and community ministries. The organization conducts international child care missions for developing countries throughout the world. It maintains various residential care and emergency shelter facilities for school-age boys and girls. Florida Baptist Children's Homes also offers adoption and maternity care services. The organization provides the Sanctity of Human Life program that works in coordination with more than 200 pregnancy resource centers throughout Florida. It maintains a network of Christian and private foster care homes for infants, children and youths. Florida Baptist Children's Homes is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children.
