The Flag and Banner Company was established by Karen Bush in 1979. The idea translated from the lack of availability to quickly purchase an American flag in Karen’s hometown, Indianapolis, IN. The company started on the dining room table with product, packaging, and shipping…all launched by Karen, her husband Cliff, and two daughters, Kari & Kristi. Today seven members of The Flag & Banner team give enthusiastic customer service, create custom flags and banners, and are dedicated to a company based on patriotism and the American Dream! The road has been rocky at times, yet in 2004, The Flag & Banner Company team, led by its owner, Karen, was awarded the Blue Chip Award by the Indiana Business Journal as one of the top ten Indiana businesses to successfully overcome diversity and be an inspiration to other business owners. Our in-house stock consists of all sizes of flags, flagpoles and signage plus we offer a full retail showroom. Our custom department, for both fabric and vinyl, works continually to satisfy your marketing needs. For three consecutive years, The Flag & Banner Company has returned from the National Independent Flag Dealers Association (NIFDA) conference with 1st place Awards in the National Flag Contest.
