The company was founded by Pat Cason and Scott Stoermer in Owensboro, Kentucky in 2002 under the belief that customer service is the most important part of the loan process. We understand that consumers have more choices than ever to get a loan, but we take pride in separating ourselves from the competition through outstanding service. The keys to this service are knowledge, communication and the internal process that we have developed to close loans quickly. We work closely with several lenders to keep our loan officers aware of all the different loan programs available, allowing us to educate each customer so that we can help them choose the loan program that best fits their needs. A First Liberty loan officer is trained to communicate throughout the approval process with not just the customers but also the realtors involved in the transaction. In addition to our loan officers, each First Liberty Financial office has experienced loan processors that are an integral part of our team. Our processors along with the partnerships we have developed with appraisers, lenders and title companies allow us to close loans more quickly than other companies.
