Finance & Central Services is one of the departments of Anoka County, Minn. The department is divided into various divisions, including accounting, budget and payroll; financial management and central services; and facilities management and construction. Its accounting division processes invoice payments, maintains the county s centralized accounting and contract systems, develops and prepares the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and assures conformance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, county policies, state statutes and the federal laws. The department s services include purchasing, risk management, central collections, insurance, safety, treasury management, construction and space management. It is responsible for the custodial, mechanical, structural and grounds maintenance of many county facilities.
