Recognized internationally for her work as a fertility educator and activist, Julia Indichova is the author of Inconceivable (Broadway Books 2001), the first book about infertility written from a patient's point of view, and The Fertile Female: How the Power of Longing for a Child Can Save Your Life and Change the World  (Adell Press 2007). She is the founder of www.fertileheart.com, a global community focused on life-enhancing approaches to reproductive difficulties, adoption, and pregnancy. The Fertile Heart Ovum Program, aka the Indichova-Baum Ovum Work (IBOW) is an original health and fertility enhancing practice which evolved through a decade and a half of counseling and research. Fertile Heart offers daylong retreats in Woodstock, New York, as well as international teleconferences and a monthly support circle in New York City. Julia Indichova's work and story have appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, Oxygen, Discovery Health, Health magazine, USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle and other outlets.  After 9/11, Indichova initiated Birthing a Child Friendly Earth Project applying the Ovum practice to the peace efforts.
