Shortly after moving to Chattanooga, Tennessee, Felton Maughon noticed a lack of clutch distributors that offered both quality products and friendly service. So in 1964 Felton, who has been building clutches since 1947, founded Felton's Clutch Service and has implemented both of these factors into the family-owned and operated business. In 1988, Felton's youngest son, Chris, joined the operation and currently serves as Vice President. Recently in 1999 Felton's Clutch Service renovated the main building with the addition of a Brake Department, expanding our services from our original specialty in clutches. We now have major distributers in over 4 states and have sold clutches to export all over the Carribean, Hawaii, and Alaska. We also currently do work for major clutch manufacturers such as Sachs North America. Our factory is over 20, 000 square feet with all the latest remanufacturing equipment including computerized clutch tables that give exact plate load and lift capabilities.
