General Info:

The Annual Meeting of the Federated Church of Norfolk will be held Sunday, May 2, 2010 following worship. At this meeting officers will be elected and other church business considered. All are welcome to attend and speak, but only members may vote. This past year Pastor Scott has spoken often to us all, from the pulpit and elsewhere, on ways we can become more welcoming toward those we encounter. During our Fall Deacon's Retreat, we spend considerable time and discussion on how we as Deacons could be more in tune and attentive to those who come to our church to worship not only as members but guests and strangers. Although we certainly do not intend to pass right by, we sadly sometimes do. If we pause and greet with joy, the exchange is so mutually beneficial. It is so possible, that so little, may so often mean so much. We never know where God will direct us, and by what means His light can be shared. BLESSINGS FCON FAMILY
