Father & Son Flooring, LLC is a small company with a total of 5 employees, including the owner. Anthony DeWeese is the son and sole owner of Father & Son Flooring, as his father has retired. We specialize in hardwood flooring and anything that has to do with hardwood flooring. We have chosen not to do other types of flooring such as carpet, tile, or laminate because we feel that specialized trades produce the best results. We do not subcontract work out to other companies and all employees have a minimum of two years experience. We pay our employees by the hour and not by a square footage or a piece pay rate. This is the best way to ensure employees are not rushed and the proper amount of attention is given to each floor in order to provide amazing results. Sand and Refinish Hardwood Floors (Natural): * Day 1- Sand Floors To Bare Wood and Apply First Coat of Polyurethane * Day 2- Buff Floors to Smooth out Grain Raise, Vacuum, Tack with Mineral Spirits, Then Apply Second Coat of Polyurethane * Day 3- Lightly Buff Floors, Vacuum, Tack with Mineral Spirits, Then Apply Final Coat of Polyurethane Sand and Refinish Hardwood Floors (Stain): * Day 1- Sand Floors To Bare Wood and Apply Stain * Day 2- Apply First Coat of Polyurethane * Day 3- Lightly Buff Floors, Vacuum, Tack with Mineral Spirits, Then Apply Second Coat of Polyurethane * Day 4- Lightly Buff Floors, Vacuum, Tack with Mineral Spirits, Then Apply Final Coat of Polyurethane Screen Hardwood Floors (Buff and Re-Coat): * Day 1-Lightly Sand/Buff Hardwood Floors, Vacuum, Tack with Mineral Spirits And Apply 1-2 Coats Of Polyurethane Note: These are samples of how most jobs are completed; however, some jobs may take longer depending upon the size of the job.
