Family Rescue, founded in 1981, is a nonprofit agency helping victims of domestic violence, especially abused women and their children. It provides a wide variety of services, including 24-hour crisis intervention, counseling services, information and referrals, and children's services. The organization also offers other services, such as legal and social service advocacy, life skills education, nonemergency medical assistance, substance abuse counseling and support, and referral to partnering agencies.
