Formerly known as Express Muffler Hitch, we began as a simple idea, just a couple of guys building custom exhaust systems in the evenings and on weekends. At the time, Tim Abbas, now with over 35 years experience, brought to the new venture 15 years experience as an exhaust installer working with both bolt-on and custom systems. The other guy, Scott Young, contributed over a decade of experience fabricating truck bodies for the likes of SDG E, the Santa Fe Railroad and AT T, known then as PacBell. Working from Scotts garage at his home in Santee, California, it quickly became apparent, they need to find more accommodating facilities. The guys found a couple of bays available in a nearby automotive center and in March of Express Muffler was born. Fast-forward to 2004, we found ourselves expanding our services and product lines to better meet the needs of our customers, as a result we changed our name to better reflect our growing services. Now known as Express Performance Center, we are a family owned, independent business, please to offer our customer services such as Brakes, Catalytic Converters, Alignments, Shocks Suspension, Trailer Hitches Towing Equipment, Work Truck Van Outfitting, Wheels Tires and more. Whether its a routine oil change or a vehicle overhaul, we stand behind our work. We strive to offer the best service experience in the industry, to develop an unmatched reputation with our customers. We install everything we sell and use many of the products we carry in our own personal lives.
