The Evendale Police Department works to provide law enforcement services and ensures the safety and security of citizens. It employs more than 20 full-time sworn and nonsworn officers and support personnel. The department undertakes cases of animal nuisance, traffic violations and auto accidents. The Evendale Police Department provides the copies of police reports and conducts vacation house checks. It also hosts Project ChildSafe, which is a nationwide firearms safety education program that distributes safety kits to children. The department also supports the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program, which helps children avoid involvement with drugs, gangs and violence. The Evendale Police Department is recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). It is located in Cincinnati.
