ERA Preferred Properties of Venice was started on May 1, 1990 by Lauren H. Meadows who still runs it to this day. The location at 325 West Venice Avenue was acquired in 1994, one of 5 active companies that have been merged into the company since 1990. We have won numerous customer service accolades from ERA and Awards for beautification and Business of the month awards from the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce.Lauren is originally from Connecticut and she and her family ran a very successful Restaurant in East Haddam, Ct named the Gelston House for Many years. After relocating to Venice in 1986, she got her Real Estate License in 1987 and worked for several brokerages until deciding to start her own company which she did in May of 1990. The boutique brokerage has been very successful and has many agents and staff that have been with the office for over 20 years!
