The Corwin Center features more than 55 private apartments and offers skilled nursing services. It is operated by Emerald Heights, which is a nonprofit and nondenominational life care community. Founded in 1992, Emerald Heights provides accommodation and supportive services to senior citizens. It houses over 400 people who support local food bank and host community blood drives. The community offers dining, housekeeping, laundry and building and maintenance services. It also offers transportation services, as well as organizes scheduled trips to grocery stores, banks and doctors offices. The community additionally conducts several fitness classes, such as water aerobics, cardio balance and strength training. Its special activities include birthday celebrations, bible study, and educational and musical programs. Located in Redmond, Wash., Emerald Heights is spread across an area of nearly 35 acres.
