El-Tex Industries was founded in 1973 as a manufacturer of Custom Electrical Control Panels for Industrial, Utility and Contractor based clients. The Company has completed approximately 4000 projects over a 37-year period and has installations in more than 22 countries. Our products are used in many different industries to operate manufacturing processes in accordance with customer design and provide protection for the end users equipment. Some of the industries that our products are used in are the food, beverage, automotive, chemical, paper, textile and pharmaceutical industries. Our products and services are also used by engineering firms, system integrators and utility companies.El-Tex is a UL listed shop for Industrial Control Panels ( UL 508A ). This enables El-Tex to label the completed panels which provides the end user with listed equipment that meets the safety requirements of UL. Our products are supported by a Quality Control system and documentation that is available in various formats including AutoCAD and Microstation.El-Tex is dedicated to the principle of maintaining the highest levels of quality and integrity in communicating with people inside and outside of its business operation. We have always applied high quality standards as guidelines for our processes and operations and we are in the process of becoming compliant with ISO 9001: 2008.One of our biggest assets are our employees. We have a team of people that have been working together for many years. Our project management staff has been employed at El-Tex for an average of 22 years. Our shop foreman and Job Leaders have and average length of employment of 18 years.We also have long-standing relationships with many of our customers who understand and acknowledge the value that we add to their projects. Our business philosophy, customer service, in-house capabilities and physical setup has enabled El-Tex to provide products and services that our customers need, when they need it and with the highest level of quality. Our strong points have always been quality, reliability and productivity. These capabilities, along with other services, bring "added value" to our customers. This "added value" gives our customers reasons to do business with El-Tex instead of our competitors.El-Tex has progressively grown over the years to it's present 10, 000 square foot facility located in Baltimore, Maryland.
