Founded in July of 1927, Elm Ridge now has more than 105 acres with beautiful garden-inspired sections, landscaping, trees and hedges offering many ground burial options, including: large family estate lots, multiple space lots and single grave spaces. The beautiful gardens at Elm Ridge include: Family, Evening, Peace, Twilight Oval, Sunset Cloisters, American Heroes, Oaks, Meditation, Sunrise Oval, Tranquility, Devotion, Memorial, Faith, Hope, Seasons and Love. Elm Ridge Mausoleum, an exceptional landmark, is one of the largest in the Midwest. The mausoleum features base-relief carvings, exotic marbles and inspiring scriptures and poetry. Two chapels are available to all property owners for committal services. Elm Ridge Funeral Home, built in the center of the property in 1988, offers residents of Muncie and Delaware County a full range of funeral services. Featuring a large beautiful chapel, the funeral home offers families a warm entry lobby, along with facilities needed at the time of loss. A large Community Room located in the basement can easily accommodate catered meals following services, and provides family members a place of refuge during a difficult time.
