Our adult curriculum is age specific and designed to teach, confidence, goal setting, fitness, and motivation, as well as practical self defense skills. It's a great alternative to the health club. For many teenagers, Keith Elkins Karate provides a social atmosphere that is a positive, healthy alternative to the sometimes undesirable peer pressure placed on today's youth. The desire to excel in karate motivates teens to attend classes regularly where they meet other like minded peers. A strong interest in karate can help teenagers to bridge the difficult gap between childhood and maturity, and aid in their development of focus and discipline. Parents bring their children to Keith Elkins Karate for many reasons. Our focus is on the whole child. Through martial arts we help children to develop an I CAN attitude. We train the physical skills, but even more important we have a structured character development program to help your child make the right choices at school, home, and in the community.
