East Bay Hang Gliding teaches people to become self sufficient Hang Glider pilots. We specialize in teaching the fundamentals, in a step by step manner. This approach locks the skills in place and forces them to become habit. We have already been recognized in the Hang Gliding community for our safety and ability to "read the student". We are in tune with them, and teach "in the moment". The "Feel" will come naturally.  Hang Gliding is all "Feel". You will be taught to relax and listen to mother nature. You will feel the wind, and the sun in a completely different way. All of this is taught in a positive environment, allowing you to relax and absorb the principles at your own pace.  With the largest training fleet of hang gliders in the San Francisco Bay Area, our students are never without the appropriate wing for their weight.  Our network of Instructors work together so our students are never left feeling abandoned as they transition from formal training to new flying sites.
