Founded in 1933, The Durham Academy is an independent, coeducational institution that serves more than 1,135 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. Located in Durham, N.C., the academy provides general academic, college preparatory and advanced placement programs. Its academic curriculum includes statistics, economics, computer science, calculus and environmental science. The academy also conducts classes in Web multimedia, networking and creative writing.
