Terry Bankert has spent his lifetime serving the community of Flint, Michigan and the surrounding area. He has done everything from investigating Police Brutality complaints to volunteering his time to preserve and provide the funding for Parks and Recreation of Genesee County for the benefit of all citizens. His background is vast and diversified, but his consistency to Protect the Rights of the least heard; Protecting Victims of our Governmental Agencies; and upholding the Political Process makes him Legendary. Mr. Bankert represents families exclusively in Genesee County and has been practicing Family Law ONLY for over 14 years and an affiliate with DumpMySpouse since 2008. Mr. Bankert does not advertise that he represents medical mal-practice, auto accidents, wrongful discharge, or any other high stakes case in hopes of catching a case with substantial Referral Fees. Mr. Bankerts concern is focused ONLY on the families that make up the community in which he lives. His office is conveniently located at 1000 Beach St. Flint MI, across from the Genesee County Circuit Courthouse in which ALL clients cases are heard. Mr. Bankert has a passion for Family Law and has gone the distance to stay on top of his profession by being a member of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and has earned a special designation from the State Bar of Michigan as a Family Law specialist. Mr. Bankert reinvests in his profession every year the cost and time of attending numerous seminars and conferences regarding Family Law issues. Family Law is continuously changing. As a society we are modifying the structure and function of the traditional family and the role of extended family members therefore, laws to provide for the needs and protection of the children of broken relationships must be adapted to ultimately sustain our community.
