Ducktrap Bay Trading Company has been in Camden, Maine for over 25 years, and at one time there was a second store in Vermont. The owners are Joyce and Tim Lawrence. Joyce grew up in Colorado, Tim in Tasmania, Australia and they both have had years of experience in the outdoor world. They have run a fly-fishing lodge ( Henry's Fork Lodge ) in Idaho, guided in Alaska, have six grandchildren and generally enjoy life! Their focus is to maintain a premier gallery where wildlife and marine art is featured. Most of the 200 or more artists represented have some relationship with the Lawrence's beloved Maine. There is a strong representation of world-class wildlife wood carvings, including artists whose work is in museums and private collections internationally. The knowledgeable staff is always ready to answer questions about birds, sailing ships, and the best place to eat. The shop stays open year round and we ship world-wide.
