General Info:

Dr. Courtney Putnam earned her BS in Biology at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. She received her doctor of optometry from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2015. After graduation, she completed a residency in refractive surgery and ocular disease at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. During her residency, she became proficient at pre and post-LASIK exams, cataract evaluations, and management of eye conditions. Dr. Putnam offers comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and treatment and management of eye diseases. During the exams, she screens for common diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts and diabetes. She had also participated in an optometric mission trip to Costa Rica where she gained experience in giving eye exams in Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, playing with her two dogs, and spending time with her husband.
