My name is Dr. Ashley D. May, and I am a naturopathic doctor working at The Alaska Center for Natural Medicine in Fairbanks, Alaska. I practice family medicine with an emphasis in natural pain management techniques, detoxification protocols, chronic degenerative diseases, and men’s health. Ultimately, I try to bestow in patients a sense of empowerment over their own health and quality of life. I believe God created us to be extraordinary and to live with zeal and purpose. That’s why are bodies are uniquely designed to adapt and heal. Obstacles (environmental toxins, food, viruses, etc.) interfere with this ability and result in disease. If the symptoms of dysfunction are merely palliated, the disease worsens and begins to effect more and more systems. My job is to identify those obstacles, eliminate them, provide supportive therapies, and get out of the way to allow the body to do what it was designed to do. Office visits are 60 min for initial, and 30 for follow-ups!
