Located in Levittown, N.Y., MacArthur High School offers classes from grades nine through 12. It offers instruction through departments, including English, social studies, science, arts, technology, math, second language, technology, physical education and business. The school works in partnership with the site-based management team that consists of teachers, students, and parents and fosters participation in academic programs beyond the prescribed curriculum. It also offers community services through peer leaders, clubs, senior class officers and the Honors Society. The MacArthur High School has a library media center that is a full-service information facility. It contains more than 12,000 titles, Internet workstations and over 95 magazines. The school is a part of the Levittown School District that serves more than 7,900 students through various educational institutions.
