I am from Southern Virginia and my family owned a retail furniture store in a small town called Brodnax, Va. Our business was built on word of mouth and referrals before the days of internet and social media. When customers purchased furniture from our store they were given the best customer service possible and educated on how quality furniture would suit their needs for a lifetime of ownership. Our customers felt important and knew they were getting a good deal, they became family to us! I was raised on these principles from a young age, to offer the best service possible to customers and I have had many jobs since my teenager years and this philosophy still holds true now for me in the real estate industry. My former job, I worked as a mortgage loan consultant for 7 years with a local real estate company and local bank in the Triangle. My priority was always making sure my customers could afford the home they were purchasing and not allowing them to be mortgage poor. My ability to listen to their needs, to hear what is important and help them set goals allowed me to have thousands of satisfied customers over the years.
