If you own or operate a fleet of heavy duty diesel vehicles in California, you are required to comply with the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program or PSIP for short.  The PSIP is a program required by the California Air Resources Board to keep the smoke leaving exhaust stack at the predefined level.  We help you comply with that program by provide smoke smoke testing services. The PSIP program is sometimes referred to as Opacity Testing because it measures the opacity of the smoke leaving the exhaust stack.  Its also sometimes referred to as a "snap" test because the accelerator is pressed to the floor so quickly during the test.
