General Info:

I chose to become a Registered Dietitian (RD) because I am fascinated by the way food choices that we make every day can affect our health and happiness, and I wanted to apply my learning and interest in the subject to promote better health. I view ” food as medicine,” and because of this, I strive to meet my patients where they are and motivate them to make sustainable, positive diet and lifestyle changes. Outside of work, I like being outside, playing golf, biking, dancing, hiking and gardening. I am currently training to become a Wake County Master Gardener. I also enjoy practicing yoga, reading, sewing, cooking, and relaxing with friends and family.
