Human beings continue to fascinate me.  We are both resilient and vulnerable at the same time.  Psychological treatment is aimed at enhancing psychological strengths and diminishing psychological vulnerabilities.  In my years of work with patients, I create a collaborative effort  with them in order to help them achieve a fuller and more rounded psychological life.  This leads to a healthier connection to the world and the people in it.  That healthier connection leads to better functioning in every aspect of life, home, relationships, and occupations. We accomplish this goal together by dealing with internal and external sources of distress that often come from inaccurate self-perceptions, low self-esteem, fears, anxieties, or senses of loss or foreboding that get in the way of a more vibrate and rewarding life. Therapy occurs in a safe, comfortable, and confidential relationship where the only judgment that takes place concerns your best psychological and emotional interests. I treat a number of psychological conditions and circumstances including: Â·         Anxiety·         Adjustment disorders·         Depression·         Obsessive-compulsive disorders·         Phobias·         Blended family issues·         Family conflict·         Life transition issues·         Among many others. I also specialize in psychological assessment involving a variety of areas including personality assessment and forensic assessment.
