General Info:

The Danish Heritage Museum is housed in a building constructed to resemble a Danish barn such as those built by the early settlers of the community of Danevang, TX. The Museum houses artifacts of the early Danish settlement with displays of home and social life as well as exhibits showing the growth of farming in the area. The Museum has one of the few complete collections of Bing and Grøndahl Christmas plates. The complex includes a 1898 Sears Roebuck engineered house. The house is furnished with pre-World War I items many of which belonged to families who lived in the house.
