Established in 1902, the Children's Home Society of Florida offers various individual counseling, therapeutic foster care, and child abuse prevention and intervention services. It administers several residential and group home, adoption, mentoring and family preservation programs. The organization also offers services related to single parenthood, parenting skills, substance abuse, family discord and abuse recovery. It is approved by the Council on Accreditation, also known as COA. The Children's Home Society of Florida maintains more than 200 locations and is headquartered in Winter Park, Fla.
