this course is for healthcare professionals WHO need to know HOW to perform CPR. AS well AS other lifesaving skills. In a wide variety of in-hospital and OUT-OF-HOSPITAL SETTINGS. BLS for healthcare providers teaches skills using the american hearth association's Proven PRACTICE-WHILE-WATCHING technique. Which allows instructors to observe students. Provide feedback and guide students' acquisition of skills. This course is intended for certified or noncertified. Licensed or nonlicensed. Healthcare professionals. Including physicians | nurses | paramedics | EMTS respiratory. Physical and occupational therapists physician assistants | residents or fellows medical or nursing students in training nurses Aides | medical assistants or other Allied health personnel in addition. BLS training CAN BE appropriate for first responders. Such AS police officers and firefighters. AS well AS for LAYPEOPLE whose work brings them into contact with members of the public.
