CompuDyne Corporation provides products and services for the security market. It operates four segments: Institutional Security Systems, Attack Protection, Federal Security Systems and Public Safety and Justice. Institutional Security Systems is known as Norment Security Group. It provides security products and services to the corrections industry and courthouse, municipal and commercial markets. Attack Protection manufactures bullet, blast and attack resistant windows and doors designed for applications, such as embassies, courthouses, Federal buildings and banks. Federal Security Systems segment is known as Quanta Systems Corporation. It provides systems integration of public security and safety systems for the military, governmental agencies, and state and local governments. The Public Safety and Justice segment consists of two subsidiaries: CorrLogic and Tiburon. CorrLogic develops inmate management and institutional medical software systems. Tiburon offers computer-assisted dispatch, records management, and court and probation software systems for law enforcement, fire and rescue, corrections and justice environments.
