General Info:

I was born and raised in Maryland and received my B.A in psychology from the University of Virginia and my Ph.D. at the University of Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas I benefitted from the experience of practicing in a myriad of settings. I have worked within the public school and mental health systems in North Carolina, directed a private non-profit outpatient clinic in Florida and administered the clinical component of a public secondary school for emotionally handicapped children in Howard County, Maryland. After returning to the Baltimore-Washington area in 1989 I have been in independent private practice since 1992.
