Your relaxing sessions of hypnotherapy are conducted by Michael Burney.  Mike is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist receiving his certification from the American Board Of Hypnotherapy. When you contact Columbia Hypnotists, you will find Mike eager to listen carefully to your goals for change.  Since every script is highly customized to meet your specific needs, the more you can share, the more targeted your session. Mike knows you will likely have questions about hypnosis and he is always interested in sharing his knowledge while answering your questions.  Many myths about hypnosis abound, primarily due to people's perception of what goes on in a stage hypnosis show. Clinical hypnotherapy is not for entertainment.  It is a process where Mike, your trained guide, helps you tap into our own subconscious ability to make lasting, permanent changes in your life.  Simply put, Mike guides but you internalize the suggestions and decide to make change. Mike has been described as easy-going and a good listener.  You will find he has a tremendous desire to make sure your sessions are as customized and effective as possible.
