Collateral Evaluation Associates, Inc. (CEA) began operations in 1990, providing machinery appraisals, equipment appraisals and inventory appraisals for asset based lenders. Our valuation procedures began at Citicorp Industrial Credit in 1981 where the principal of CEA initiated Citicorp's in house appraisal requirements, which are utilized by CEA to this day. Over two decades later, our unparalleled experience throughout a diverse range of industries has allowed us to establish and maintain an data base of industrial sources and references which support our stringent analytic process. CEA has accomplished literally thousands of certified appraisals. Our senior appraisers average in excess of 30 years of full time professional appraisal experience. Our extensive familiarity in a vast array of industries, a long standing relationship with the American Society of Appraisers and our strict adherence to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) undisputedly distances us from our competition.
