Through its acquisition of ACMI Holdings in July 2004, Coinstar also offers various entertainment services to consumers in mass merchandisers, supermarkets, warehouse clubs, restaurants, entertainment centers and truck stops, and other distribution channels. These entertainment services include skill-crane machines, bulk vending, children s rides and video games. The company has a total of more than 12,000 coin-counting machines installed, nearly 170,000 entertainment services machines installed and approximately 15,000 locations where its point-of-sale and noncoin-counting kiosks are installed. Coinstar is headquartered in Bellevue, Wash.
